In 2022, the band was awarded a grant from the National Institute of Music and Dance and released its critically acclaimed debut album "Untold". The album attempts to convey the emotions and reflexions resulting from the social and artistic isolation caused by the pandemic. In 2023, Ziolek has toured with the legendary Polish rock band Dżem.

Ziółek had the opportunity to perform with the top Polish jazz musicians in many prestigious venues and jazz clubs, such as the Polish National Philharmonic, Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene, Bimhaus, Duc de Lombards, Jazzclub Unterfahrt. Since the beginning of his short but intense and brilliant career, Ziolek had the opportunity to collaborate and perform with leading figures from both Polish and international jazz and rock scenes, such as Maciej Obara, Ron Carter, Gregory Hutchinson, Jerry Bergonzi, Mike Stern, Sebastian Riedel, Jimmy Herring, Dżem and many more.
GREG ZIOLEK
Polish-Swedish pianist and composer. Born in 1995 in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. He began his musical career as a classical pianist, performing J.S. Bach's Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor with The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra at the age of 13. After graduating high school, he began jazz studies at the Academy of Music in Cracow under dr Dominik Wania. During his studies, Ziolek had an opportunity to participate in various workshops and masterclasses with artists such as Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dayna Stephens, Ron Carter, Kendrick Scott, Jerry Bergonzi, Aaron Parks, Christian Lillinger, Petter Eldh, Thomas Strönen.
Together with the Łukasz Kokoszko Quartet, he was nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the Phonographic Debut of the Year category for the "New Challenge" album released in 2018.
After receiving his master's degree at the Academy of Music in Cracow in 2019, Ziółek founded a quartet that quickly marked its presence on the Polish jazz scene. The band won numerous awards in the following years at the most notable international jazz competitions.

THE BAND
The award-winning band was formed on the initiative of pianist and composer Greg Ziolek.
He invited the bright stars of the young generation of the Polish jazz scene to create an ultimate group of artistic individuals with the same goal to push the boundaries of improvised music and search for new. They marked their presence on the Polish jazz scene by winning the most notable jazz competitions in 2020 and 2021. Their unique sound and approach caught the attention of critics and jazz fans nationwide. In 2022, the quartet won the National Institute of Music and Dance's Phonographic Jazz Debut Competition and released their highly acclaimed debut album "Untold".
